Scholar Athletes

Our athletes perform at the highest level both on the field and in the classroom.
St. Mary's athletes are not just outstanding on the field, they contribute and achieve in the classroom. They compete in a range of sports from lacrosse to swimming to field hockey. Men and women just like you who know what it takes to be part of a team and still focus on academics. That is a true Seahawk. But don't take our word for it, here is what Aaron Crapster, Class of 2005 (Walkersville, MD), Nitze Scholar and Captain of the Men's Soccer team had to say.

"Playing for the men's soccer team at St. Mary's was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The structure of everyday practices, workouts, and/or games helped my time management from the beginning. I was able to schedule enough time needed to major in both chemistry and biology."
Just like Aaron you too can become a scholar athlete - a Seahawk!
