Mariela: Our professors expect you to work hard and give them your all; they want you to go beyond what is required. But they provide you with the support to go to that next level.

Mariela: There is so much to do here; you can go out and play Frisbee golf, go to a sports game, or go down to the water and read a book.

Jacky: I am in love with the water and I love to spend time there.

Mariela: Our room is an international room. Jacky is from El Salvador, I am from the Dominican Republic, and our other suitemates are from Maryland and Hong Kong. You learn so many things from having roommates with different backgrounds. It really is an opportunity to learn from each other.
