Join a club.
St. Mary's has over 90 student-run clubs, including sports and service clubs. It is a great way to meet new people and become an integral part of our college community. There's a club for everyone, but if you don't see one that's right for you? Start one!

The Student Government Association is the official representative body of students and is an integral part of student life at St. Mary's. The S.G.A provides a representative body where student thoughts, opinions, needs, and concerns can be voiced, discussed, and conveyed to faculty and administrators. The SGA appoints student representatives to a number of College and faculty committees, including Academic Policy, Academic Resources, Admissions and Scholarship, Curriculum and Planning, Lecture and Fine Arts, and the Faculty Senate. Students can participate in the S.G.A. by serving as a senator or an officer, joining a committee, or just attending a meeting and sharing their ideas. The S.G.A. also sponsors a Programs Board that plans campus activites for students and serves as the governing body for student clubs. If you would like to be a part of S.G.A. at St. Mary's, please e-mail the S.G.A. president, Keith Buzby.
