Welcome to St. Mary's, The Honors College
Student Life

Places to Eat

We've designed the St. Mary's dining program to provide you with delicious, freshly prepared meals at locations and times that are designed to fit the way our students eat. You can grab a quick sandwich or salad on the way to class, sit down for a leisurely meal with your favorite professor, or share coffee and bagels with friends.

The Great Room

The showpiece of campus dining, the Great Room, is a 400-seat, richly finished dining room, featuring cherry paneling, slate floors, mission-style dining furniture, and a wood-burning fireplace. It is supported by the all-you-can-eat Servery, featuring the following:

  • A Breakfast Station where students can make their own Belgian waffles, toast a bagel or bread, or choose from a rotating selection of cereals and breakfast pastries. At the Marché, they can select from a variety of proteins: omelets, scrambled eggs, and bacon.
  • The Three Marché (servery) Stations provide students with pizza/pasta, stir-fry, and grilled foods. They can choose from the offerings displayed or ask the chef to prepare new combinations for them as they watch.
  • The "Comfort Food" Station offers students a daily selection of traditional entrées, vegetarian entrées, and vegetables. They can help themselves to a daily rotation of offerings, such as a slice of pot roast with carrots or eggplant lasagna.
  • A Salad Bar features fresh fruit, freshly made grain salads, a variety of greens and vegetables, a soup-of-the-day, or sandwich makings with pita bread and roasted veggies, for example.

The Upper Deck

Students looking for a quick bite to eat often visit the upper deck. Here you'll find grill sandwiches such as Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich or a Grilled Smokey Chicken & Cheddar, pizza, deli sandwiches, soups & salads, grab and go items and, of course, beverages and desserts.

Quizno's

Quiznos is the latest addition to the campus dining facilites offering our students even more food options. Quizno's offers its full menu and accepts student meal plans.

Lewis Quad Grab & Go

Open for breakfast and lunch weekdays during the school year, the Grab and Go provides quick meal options for students who are running late to class or just don't feel like heading to the campus center for their meals. Breakfast features an assortment of bagels, toast, fruit, and cereal. Lunch choices include a variety of salads, sandwiches, chips, fruits, and desserts.

The Daily Grind

Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee at The Daily Grind, the campus coffee shop and convenience store. It brews Starbucks' Coffee daily, mixes up fresh smoothies, and sells bakery goods, along with general food and drink items.
